Karlee's Birthday

Karlee was so excited about her birthday. She saw the presents wrapped on the table the day before and could not contain herself (guess that was a bad idea) and kept asking if she could open them. All week long she kept asking, "Is it my birthday today? (even though I really don't think she knows exactly what it means) she just knows she will be 3 and not 2 anymore. The day started off with her coming into the bedroom at 7:30, and yes I was still in bed - 7:30 is extremely unusual for Karlee. She came in holding her princess balloons that we put in her bedroom the night before with the biggest smile on her face. She realized that it was her birthday. We made her cake...her request was chocolate cake with white frosting and with pink and red sprinkles. Whew, thank goodness I could do that. We went down to Gateway and took her to Build a Bear, where she made "Sparkles" the pink unicorn. She played in the fountains and had a blast. We had family over for presents and cake & ice cream.

It's about time

Well I don't know why it's taken me so long, but I've finally decided to start a blog. I don't know how well I will do at posting or how often, but we will soon find out.
